Veteran whose 3 career wins have come in hunter chases. Absent since tailing off in a handicap hurdle on final start for Max Comley last summer. Given breathing operation ahead of this stable debut and does at least drop into a 0-100 for first time over fences.
Lightly-raced winner in points. Matched the pick of his hurdle form when 3½-length third on chasing debut at Leicester in December (23f). Still early days in this discipline and weighted to go well on return from 10 months away.
Justified strong support on second chase start at Market Rasen in April (form franked by the runner-up). All the better for his comeback when going close at Worcester (2m) latest. Worth another go over 2½m and Sean Bowen could be the catalyst for a stronger finishing effort.
Point winner/novice hurdle winner. Shaped well to split a pair of next-time-out winners at Bangor (2½m) on return/chasing debut. Backed out of things after a bump at the last when beaten favourite at Hexham (2½m) subsequently. Probably worth another chance on balance.
Telescope gelding out of a fairly useful chaser. Winner over hurdles off this mark at Warwick (19f) in the spring. Didn't fully settle on return/chasing debut at Huntingdon (3m). Entitled to come for that, though yard form does give pause.
Modestly-bred type who won a 2-finisher point in March 2025 (subsequently disqualified). Ran creditably in a couple of handicap hurdles at Bangor at the end of last season, formerly splitting a pair of above-average mares. Gets the nod from her stable jockey on chasing debut, too.
Landed a fourth handicap chase success in small field at Doncaster in February. Still paying the price for that wide-margin success, though did at least fare better than recently when 6-length third in a thin race here (3m) last time.
Regressed since completing a hat-trick over fences for Harry Derham in May 2025. Offered a modicum of promise (briefly looking the most likely threat to the winner) when well-held fourth here (3m) latest. Now back over 2½m off his tumbling mark.
Maiden pointer who gradually got the hang of things in handicap hurdles last winter. In the process of making a successful chasing debut when exiting through no fault of his own (stumbled) at Hereford (25f, soft) in February. Could be better to come if fit and well on return.
Isn't badly bred for a cheap purchase (half-brother to smart chaser). Showed promise off this sort of mark in handicap hurdles last season (unseated early on final start in May). Now switched to fences and betting usually guides when stable fancies one.
Runner-up sole point start. Showed first form when well-backed second under Sean Bowen on handicap hurdle bow/return at Leicester (2½m, heavy) in December. Only 1 lb higher for his chasing debut but has been off for a further 10 months since (undergone a breathing operation in the interim).

Forecasts
Kally Des Bruyeres (7/2), Soldier In Mayo (5/1), Kingston Gent (11/2), Nevershedatear (6/1), Colby Mayfield (7/1), Dance Rules (17/2), Midnight View (10/1), Bravethewaves (12/1), Kaviar Wood (14/1), Kaproyale (25/1), A Dublin Job (33/1)
The addition of Sean Bowen may well see KALLY DES BRUYERES double his tally over fences, while Kingston Gent, Kaviar Wood and Soldier In Mayo are the likely dangers of those with experience. The trio of chasing debutants all need a market check, with Nevershedatear perhaps most interesting on paper.
- Kingston Gent11/2
- Kaviar Wood14/1
