It's now 18 runs since his last win (left A. Slattery after first outing this year) and has been struggling for form, last of 9 in handicap at Leicester 2 weeks ago.
Ended 2025 with success over this C&D in November. Yet to win this year but stepped forward from his recent run when fourth of 10 here (9.5f) 22 days ago. Can make his presence felt back down in grade.
Belatedly matched debut form when third of 13 in handicap here (9.5f) in July, helped by getting a soft lead. Hasn't repeated that effort in 2 subsequent outings, not looking entirely straightforward when third of 5 at Yarmouth last time. Tongue strap back on.
Course winner who recorded back-to-back victories at Bath earlier this year. Below form last 3 starts but his mark has at least eased ahead of his first all-weather run of the year.
Took advantage of his career-low mark when scoring at Newcastle in September. Has run well at the same course both starts since, second in 12-runner contest a week ago, and he could be thereabouts once more.
Won 7f Southwell nursery in November last year but hasn't fired this season, ninth of 14 in handicap at Redcar (1¼m) 11 days ago. Has fallen further in the weights though has enough to prove at present.
From his reduced mark, placed at Dundalk (10.5f) on first 2 starts this year, before going off too hard tried in cheekpieces when down the field at the same course in March. Off 7 months since but looks very interesting on first run since leaving J. J. Feane.
Upped in trip and fitted with tongue strap, produced his most encouraging effort to date when fourth of 11 in handicap at this course (9.5f) 5 weeks ago. Task is now to build on latest effort.
Remains a maiden after 11 starts and again finished well held when eighth of 10 in handicap at Windsor in August.
Showed more than previously making handicap debut when third at Southwell in August. Excuses over this C&D next time but ran poorly here on latest outing.

Forecasts
Eighty Eight (5/2), Bajan Bandit (10/3), Sant Alessio (4/1), Harry The Rogue (15/2), Symphony Of Joy (9/1), Boy Named Sioux (11/1), Dappled Light (18/1), Bennyworth (22/1), Thomas Tallis (28/1), Venturing (33/1)
EIGHTY EIGHT placed twice from 3 starts at Dundalk early this year and has dropped to a career-low mark ahead of joining a yard which has a good record with new recruits. He is taken to get back to winning ways, at the chief expense of Bajan Bandit who arrives in good form, while Sant Alessio could also be in the mix.
