Ex-Irish gelding who has made an excellent start for this yard, adding to his tally at Kempton (6f) in September and placed on both starts since. Drawn widest of all but no surprise to see him give another good account of himself under Billy Loughnane.
Free-going sort who confirmed promise of his last run having slipped further in the weights when landing 9-runner handicap at Brighton (5.3f) 17 days ago, just holding on. 3 lb rise should see him competitive again but will need to settle better back at 6f.
Won over 7f here in November. Lightly raced since but proved revitalised by the drop to sprinting/fitting of first-time blinkers when readily cashing in off reduced mark over C&D in July. Subsequent absence no issue if headgear has desired effect a second time.
Bounced back to form to register second success of 2026 at Bath (5.7f) in May but below form in trio of starts since on turf/all-weather. Finds himself operating 1 lb below last winning mark but others arrive with more compelling claims.
Bettered his 2 previous efforts this season (well backed) when finding only one too good at Southwell (6f) in September. Reportedly finished lame when last of 8 over same C&D since and he remains one to bear in mind from this sort of mark boasting an unexposed profile on all-weather.
Good record at Lingfield, ending losing run there in January. Returned to form having eased in weights during mid-summer, keeping on for third at Yarmouth (7f) in July. Has form at 6f but others look stronger for win purposes back from a break.
Three-time C&D winner who is a while without a win but displayed more positive signs in refitted hood when third at Beverley (7.4f) in August. Best not judged too harshly on his subsequent Ripon effort (5f) and he's dangerously well treated returned to all-weather in refitted cheekpieces.
Dual course winner (latest over 7f in June) and essentially remained in form since, going close at Pontefract on penultimate start and unsuited by emphasis on speed when sixth at Ripon 4 weeks ago. Can give another good account for all his 4 career victories have come at 7f.

Forecasts
Methgal (5/2), Cayman Tai (11/4), Landlordtothestars (5/1), Good Karma (6/1), Way To Dubai (13/2), Willolarupi (12/1), Intervention (16/1), Early Release (33/1)
INTERVENTION ran his best race for some time and looked unlucky not to finish closer in the process when third at Beverley 2 starts ago and, with his latest Ripon run best overlooked, Mick Appleby's 3-time C&D winner is too well handicapped to ignore back on all-weather. Methgal has been a model of consistency since joining Dylan Cunha and is an obvious threat. Willolarupi and Cayman Tai are others to consider.
