Edelak^p⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 11-10| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR: 131

4/5

Not far off useful on the Flat and has built up a good strike rate over hurdles, making it win number 5 in another small-field event at Newton Abbot last month. Big shout on that form but has followed that up with 2 subdued performances. Goes up in trip now.

Tommy Pickles^t²¹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: G Sheehan| T: Jamie Snowden| OR: 114| D

10/11

Cost £80,000 after winning on his second start in Irish points and has been progressive over hurdles so far, off the mark at the fourth attempt in Bangor maiden in March. Returns with yard in top form and this looks an excellent opportunity.

Form: 51/3221-

Rock Armour⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Joshua Thompson⁽⁵⁾| T: D Thompson

33/1

Flat winner but hasn't shown much for this yard, including over hurdles.

Form: 53U

Forecasts

Edelak (4/5), Tommy Pickles (10/11), Rock Armour (33/1)

TOMMY PICKLES and Edelak are closely matched on their best form but the former is the confident selection with Edelak having plenty to prove all of a sudden.
