Placed in a couple of bumpers and benefited from step up in trip when landing a Catterick novice (19f) on hurdles debut in December. Matched rather than built on that in handicaps thereafter, fitted with blinkers (retained) when third at Ludlow (3m) in April. Respected on return.
Knocked on the door on a couple of occasions this summer and found fitting of cheekpieces/return to longer trip liberating when comfortably off the mark in a Market Rasen maiden (21f) in August. Claims returned to handicaps on back of a 5 lb rise.
Dual hurdles winner who made it second time lucky over fences at Worcester (16.5f) in June of last year for Dan Skelton. Respectable efforts on 2 of his 3 chase starts for present yard but not in same form back over hurdles at Cartmel (17f) 46 days ago. Had breathing operation ahead of this.
Registered back-to-back handicap victories at Worcester/Newton Abbot in September and enhanced his form further on back of another hike in the weights when second at Plumpton (21f) 24 days ago, coming back for more close home. Up further 5 lb but respected in this groove.
Well-backed winner of a 2m Hexham handicap in May and bounced right back to that form eased in grade when second at Kelso (2¼m, good, 6/4) 28 days ago, edged out late on. Winner that day hasn't let the form down since and fancied to be competitive again following a 2 lb rise.
Useful middle-distance handicapper at best on Flat. Well below that level over hurdles but probably unlucky not to score on second start current yard at Warwick (2m) in May. No threat since, including on Flat but reportedly bled when pulled up on chase debut at Sedgefield 5 weeks ago.
Disappointing in 3 runs over fences this season. Cheekpieces on for first time when a good hurdling second at Stratford (19f, good) in August but not in same form either outing since, beaten when bad mistake 2 out at Market Rasen 18 days ago. Tongue strap now added.

Forecasts
Fine Point (11/4), Centurion's Sister (3/1), Farhh Echo (7/2), Noonetellsmenothin (6/1), Dream Jet (10/1), Westerton (10/1), Got Grey (12/1)
CENTURION'S SISTER hardly gave her backers a moment's worry when readily opening her account in a Market Rasen maiden a couple of months back and, still unexposed granted this sort of test, she's fancied to continue the good work back in a handicap with cheekpieces retained. Noonetellsmenothin returns with his stable in good form and is a danger, with Fine Point and Farhh Echo other in-form sorts to consider in a competitive finale.
