Fair maiden on the Flat (best effort at 12.5f) who belied a market drift when making a winning yard/hurdles debut in a C&D juvenile 11 days ago, leading under pressure between last 2 and driven clear. Can make his presence felt again under a penalty.
Fair winner over 11.5f on the Flat who proved much more focused with cheekpieces enlisted (retained) when making second hurdles start a winning one over C&D 5 weeks ago, clear before 2 out and allowed to be eased down. Big player in bid to follow up under a penalty.
Modest maiden on Flat who has offered little in a trio of handicaps in that sphere in recent months. Yard no stranger to success in this discipline (won this race 12 months ago) but others appeal more.
Vadamos gelding. Closely related to fairly useful hurdler/very smart chaser Thunder Rock and modest hurdler/fair chaser Sir Rock. Interesting newcomer for stable which does well in this sphere and market confidence behind him would look significant.
Positive start for Charlie Clover on Flat this summer, confirming recent promise when landing 13-runner classified contest at Lingfield (1½m) in July, overcoming a wide trip and showing a good attitude to edge ahead near line. Switched yards (6,500 gns) ahead of hurdles bow and betting can guide.
Advertise filly who finished nearer last than first in handful of start on Flat and she rates a likely outsider now hurdling.
Fair ex-Irish maiden but yet to beat a rival in 2 Flat starts since joining present stable cheaply this summer. Tongue strap now added for hurdles debut.
Modest maiden on Flat (stays 1¼m) who saw her race out better than often is the case when fourth in handicap at Bath (1¼m, good) 20 days ago. Likely outsider now attentions switch to hurdles.

Forecasts
Salkadan (8/11), Royal Sapphire (7/2), Our Wee Horse (4/1), Pepper Fizz (18/1), Irish Fusilier (25/1), Sapphire Dream (28/1), Antiquarian (33/1), Flawless Fusion (125/1)
SALKADAN appeared much more focused equipped with cheekpieces when making all over C&D 5 weeks ago and he may well be up to defying a penalty. Fellow last-time-out winner Royal Sapphire is an obvious threat, while Our Wee Horse appeals as a likely newcomer from the Harry Derham yard and confidence behind him in the betting would need to be viewed positively.
