Won at Ballinrobe in June and better than ever when following up in 6-runner handicap at Tramore (1½m, good) 15 days later, beating Marmeladova by 2¾ lengths. Found run of good form coming to a halt at Gowran 3 days ago but that was in an appreciably better race than this. Can bounce back.

Remained in fine form since readily winning Ballinrobe maiden on return in May, impressing with the way she went through the race when doubling her tally in Leopardstown handicap (1¼m) in July. However, came home last of 10 at the Curragh last week, shaping as if amiss.

Capitalised on a drop in grade when ending long losing run in a Limerick claimer before seen to maximum effect when following up back in a handicap at Ballinrobe (1¼m) in June. Below form both subsequent starts at Galway, though.

Posted a creditable effort at Ballinrobe in May. Shaped as if amiss back over hurdles at Clonmel 6 days later but could get back on track after a break (has gone well fresh before).
|
Capitalised on the drop in grade in first-time blinkers when wide-margin winner of 12-runner handicap over C&D (good) 39 days ago. Ran a fine race over hurdles here on Thursday and respected back on the level despite a 12 lb rise.
|
Shaped better than the distance beaten suggests on first Flat outing for this yard when fifth of 19 in handicap at Galway (16.5f, soft, 6/1) 17 days ago. Down in trip and interesting from a 3 lb lower mark.
|
Ran creditably on his first Flat start of the year when fourth of 17 in 1½m handicap at Galway in July. Made no impact back over jumps there 2 days later but shouldn't be judged too harshly on that.

Forecasts
Churchwarden (2/1), Merlin The Wizard (10/3), Rakki (7/2), Daboya (6/1), Berto Ramirez (8/1), Marmeladova (11/1), Expound (18/1)
RAKKI is down to a handy mark on the pick of his form for his previous yard and is put forward as the answer after shaping better than the distance beaten suggests on his first Flat outing for Willie Mullins recently. Daboya can bounce back returning to a more suitable grade, while Berto Ramirez is also of interest back on the level.
