Went close in a valuable York handicap in May prior to posting a fine fifth in the Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot. Had a hopeless task from his position when eighth in a 15-runner handicap back at York 2 weeks ago and his overall body of form means he's well worth his place in this higher grade.
Holding his form well these days, adding his to good record at Ascot when a ½-length second of 8 to his very smart stablemate Zeus Olympios in the Group 2 Summer Mile Stakes at Ascot (1m, good to firm) 15 days ago. Leading claims down in grade.
Landed this in 2024 and though winless since, he's posted several good efforts in defeat, including when runner-up in the Summer Mile Stakes at Ascot last year. Ran well despite front-running tactics perhaps being a shade overdone when fourth in a big-field York handicap on latest start in May.
Southwell handicap winner for Tom Ward last spring and posted by far her best effort for current yard when a fast-finishing neck second of 12 to Radiant Beauty in fillies listed race (66/1) at this C&D (good) 19 days ago. Will need more back against the boys.
Won at Wolverhampton on third start and improved again when third in a strong handicap at Goodwood last July. Raced too freely in a Longchamp listed race on her final outing last year and it was a similar story on return from a 10-month break when down the field at Chester last month. Hood back on.
Opened her account for present yard at Newcastle in January. Ran a cracker upped markedly in grade when 2¼ lengths fourth of 12 to Radiant Beauty in a fillies listed race at this C&D (good) 19 days ago but might have her work cut out with some smart geldings in opposition this time.

Forecasts
Holloway Boy (4/5), Point Lynas (9/4), Cerulean Bay (15/2), Crystal Flyer (12/1), Mostar Dreams (20/1), Model Yuko (33/1)
HOLLOWAY BOY is a reliable sort nowadays and a repeat of his recent second in the Summer Mile at Ascot would see him go very close. 2024 winner Point Lynas and Cerulean Bay, who brings some strong handicap form to the table, are worthy opponents for the selection, with it being hard to see any of the fillies and mares getting involved on these terms.
