Picked up where she left off over the winter when landing an all-weather double at Lingfield on return. Backed that up with a respectable effort there next time but turned in a rare poor display on her first turf outing of the year at Salisbury (1½m, good) recently. First-time visor applied.

Suited by the extra distance when off the mark at Southwell (1½m) in November. Ran to a similar level when fifth of 9 in handicap at Kempton (1½m) on return just over 3 weeks ago, whilst leaving the impression she'll strip fitter for that here.

Versatile regarding trip and thriving since the spring, notching a third success in 10-runner event at Leicester (1¼m) last month. Had her winning run ended at Doncaster (1½m, good to firm) just under a fortnight ago and the suspicion is she's now in the grip of the handicapper.

Mixed bag under both codes for David Pipe, making it 2 poor efforts in the space of 5 days when last seen at Taunton (19f, good) in April. Headgear left off on first start for new connections and watching brief advised.

Didn't need to improve to finally get off the mark in 4-runner event at Newmarket (1½m, good to firm) last week, typically slow to start and not giving her rider much help early on but showing a willing attitude. Escapes a penalty and could well kick on now up and running.

Forecasts

Jindri (5/4), Nuptown Girl (5/2), Dance Time (5/2), Oasis Sunrise (6/1), Twilight Moon (13/2), Green Sky (9/1)

Verdict

DANCE TIME got firmly back on track when third at Carlisle recently and David Loughnane's mare is taken to belatedly open her turf account. She can get the better of Nuptown Girl, who shed her maiden tag by the narrowest of margins at Newmarket last week and goes unpenalised here. Jindri left the impression she'd come on from her recent Kempton return so completes the shortlist.
