1/9

Has shown improved form fitted with cheekpieces switched to handicaps, readily getting off the mark in 13-runner amateurs' event at Wolverhampton before following up in cosy fashion at Brighton (1m, good to firm) 4 days ago. Expected to take some stopping carrying a double penalty.

Showed plenty of ability in 4 starts as a juvenile. Well beaten on 6f Thirsk handicap debut/reappearance and, while he should strip fitter, it remains to be seen if the step up to a stiff 1m suits.

Forecasts

Pentonville (1/9), Station Bar (11/4), Napolian (9/2), Venturing (8/1), Norcross Brow (10/1), Albertini Star (14/1), Ritaal (14/1)

PENTONVILLE has a double penalty to shoulder but is taken to make his class tell and complete a quick-fire hat-trick. Venturing is capable of better still now going handicapping for a new yard, while Ritaal promises to be suited by the step back up in trip given how she finished at Lingfield 3 weeks ago.
