Didn't need to improve to land the odds on fourth start at Southwell in March but failed to make a serious impact in handicaps since. Eased another 2 lb.
Has gone close in a few all-weather handicaps this year and shaped as if still in form on return to turf at Windsor 3 weeks ago (set race up for the closers).
Half-brother to connections' useful sprinter Completely Random. Seems to have been brought along with handicaps in mind so improvement expected now.
Hasn't improved for the switch to handicaps as anticipated this season, looking a little short of pace. Easier going could help.
Responded well to headgear when off the mark at Wolverhampton in November. Shaped as if better for run at Southwell on return 6 weeks ago.
66/1 winner of a seller over 7f here on second start last year. However, showed nothing in handicaps since, including on return.
Showed ability all 3 starts and remains with potential now qualified for handicaps with headgear applied (probably wants further than this ideally).
Has looked far from straightforward but much more like it in re-fitted blinkers when third at Windsor and backed that up with a ½-length second to Maid In Devon here, pair clear. Disappointed at Chepstow following week but might have found that coming too soon.
Winner at Kempton for Tom Ward in January and also went close at Lingfield following month. Not beaten far on debut for this yard at Windsor but well held there 2 weeks later (hampered over 2f out).
Half-sister to connections' useful sprinter Adaay In Devon. Came good on her third go in handicaps when winning over C&D by ½ length from Stock Market, pair clear. Likely to make another bold bid.
No show in 6f maiden/novice events. Pedigree, stable and first-time headgear offer some hope for this handicap debut.
Made more impact making handicap/turf debut when 6¾ lengths fourth of 15 to Maid In Devon over C&D last month but it was hardly a step forward in terms of form.
Forecasts
Maid In Devon (11/4), That's Random (6/1), Marra Donna (13/2), Wayward Queen (13/2), Grand Vista (7/1), Follow My Heart (10/1), Stock Market (12/1), Barry The Worm (14/1), Madman (14/1), Yes Waliim (16/1), Tenzi (16/1), Grimese's Special (33/1)
MAID IN DEVON showed improved form to get off the mark over C&D last month and has scope for further improvement given her pedigree. Grand Vista and That's Random are potential improvers now handicapping so are feared most.
