Unexposed gelding who caught the eye on handicap debut when fourth of 11 at Haydock 15 days ago, enduring a nightmare passage and finishing with plenty left in the tank. Open to further improvement up slightly in trip and is one to be very interested in.
Stepped up on reappearance run when third of 10 at Windsor 14 days ago. Likely to be in the mix trying 9f for the first time but does look like most of his progression is behind him.
Placed twice before getting off the mark at Nottingham 6 days ago, staying on well to lead late over 1m. Steps up to 9f under a penalty and looks to be on the up currently.
Left previous efforts behind when switched to handicaps after gelding operation, twice finishing third. Upped slightly in trip here and needs another bit of progress, but this is just his sixth outing.
Looks to have been brought along with handicaps in mind and was better than he could show when sixth of 9 in a novice at Chelmsford in February, pulling hard. Open to improvement upped in trip but will need to settle better than he has to date.
Showed improved form when third of 14 in handicap at Windsor 12 days ago on return from 5 months off, not getting clear run but keeping on well. Can be competitive over this longer trip with good-value claimer aboard.
Won at Bath in April on return from 6-month break but that form hasn't worked out. Only seventh of 14 at Windsor 12 days ago and claimer now takes over trying a new trip.

Forecasts
Daretobedifferent (3/1), Royal Bodyguard (7/2), Del Corso (7/2), Fans Favourite (6/1), Takeitorleaveit (7/1), Sovereign Bay (8/1), Rajendra (12/1)
SOVEREIGN BAY caught the eye on his handicap debut at Haydock 15 days ago and this lightly-raced 3-y-o is open to improvement and makes plenty of appeal here. Fans Favourite showed improved form when third at Windsor 12 days ago and should be suited by this step up in trip, while Del Corso has been consistent since switching to handicaps.
