Ladies Day Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Still useful on the Flat and he made a winning hurdles/stable debut in a maiden at Sedgefield (16.8f) last month. Finished midfield in the Chester Cup back on the Flat last time but his Sedgefield form has already been boosted and he sets a clear standard.

Hasn't progressed from his debut second at Ballinrobe now almost 2 years ago and latest efforts in Ireland have left plenty to be desired. Needs a stable switch (left Edward Buckley) to have a hugely positive effect returning from a 9-month break.

Fair maiden up to 1¼m on the Flat but was seemingly found wanting for stamina upped to 13f when last seen, so not an obvious sort to make a hurdler after 8 months off.

Carlisle bumper winner in the autumn. Has shaped a bit better than the bare result despite finishing well beaten in 2 novice hurdles here in April, unable to last out after pulling way into prominent position over 2¼m last time. Probably one for handicaps but frame claims here.

Telescope gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdle winner around 2m Tedtwo. Could hardly have shown any less in a Sedgefield bumper on debut and now switches to hurdles.

Seemingly lost the plot on the Flat after finishing second in a Haydock handicap last season and he's opposable making hurdles debut for new yard (left David O'Meara) after 10 months off.

Doctor Dino gelding. Brother to French 1½m/13f winner Docteur Tournesol. Dam lightly raced on Flat in France. Wears tongue strap. Fourth on his sole point bumper outing, so will need to leave that form well behind.

Looked a longer-term prospect when a plugging-on fifth in a 14-runner Killarney juvenile hurdle (17f) on debut 15 days ago, but might be able to make the frame in a thin race here.

Kameko filly who finished third in all 3 bumpers and filled the same position sent hurdling in a 10-runner novice at Musselburgh (17f) in March. Place claims again.
