Highly tried after winning Southwell handicap over 1½m on last year's return. Sold from Tom Ward for 70,000 gns and tailed off in listed race at Goodwood (1½m, good) 16 days ago. Returns to handicap company but it remains to be seen whether this marked drop back in trip is what she needs.

A 3-time winner last year, including over C&D, before finishing well held in a first-time hood (discarded) in listed race at Saint-Cloud (1m, heavy) in November. Has the headgear discarded and is 6 Ib higher than when last seen in a handicap but is a versatile sort and represents a top stable.

Successful in a handicap at Epsom (1½m) in July and a winner over hurdles at Hexham in the winter. Unseated rider in handicap hurdle at Ayr (3m, heavy) 29 days ago. Significantly down in trip on return to the Flat and also fitted with a first-time visor. Others more persuasive.

Sole success came when trained in Ireland, yet she ran reditably when third of 8 in handicap at Haydock (10.5f, good to firm) 22 days ago. Only had 4 runs for this yard and shaped as if she may come on again for that run. Big player.

C&D winner who arrives on a losing run but has posted creditable efforts when in the frame at Musselburgh on both starts this season. Should go well again but may be vulnerable for win purposes from 2 Ib out of the handicap.

Won 6 of her first 7 starts for current yard (including here) but has struggled in 3 outings this season. Possibly amiss on latest start at Musselburgh and may again find things tough from 4 Ib out of the weights here.

Scored at Haydock (1m) in April and ran at least as well when fourth of 9 in handicap at Beverley (7.4f, good) 13 days ago. Back up in trip and looks a pace angle in a race devoid of speed.

Improving Ghaiyyath filly who landed 1m Kempton novice in December and finished an excellent second of 6 on her handicap debut over that same C&D 7 weeks ago. Upped in grade but is open to more progress tackling this longer trip. Big shout.

SEREN STAR developed a good strike rate in her first year of racing and gets the verdict on her return now back handicapping. Dunkeld Dreamer has improved for front-running of late and should give another good account if adopting similar tactics, while the lightly-raced Plaid can also make her presence felt.
