€40,000 3-y-o, Order of St George gelding. Closely related to smart hurdler Slade Steel. Dam (h94), 21f hurdle winner, half-sister to fairly useful 2¼m hurdle winner Settlement Craic. Runner-up sole start in Irish points in November and of obvious for yard with excellent course/bumper record.
€15,000 3-y-o, Hillstar gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler/chaser Hurricane Dylan and modest 23f chase winner Mountain Philip. 1 of 2 newcomers for the yard and the betting should offer up plenty of clues.
Soldier of Fortune gelding. Brother to fairly useful hurdler/chase winner Raglan Road. Dam, 13f winner, half-sister to useful hurdler (stayed 2½m) Aklan. One to watch closely in the betting for a yard which had a 1-2 in this sphere at the Festival the previous month.
€45,000 3-y-o, Wings of Eagles gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/fair chaser in France (stayed 21f) Gray Steel and fair hurdler/useful chaser (2¼m-3m winner) Sagalyrique. Interesting newcomer for yard with good record in this sphere.
Martinborough gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to (2m-2½m winner) Darwins Fox and (stayed 3¼m) Olympic Man (both useful hurdlers/chasers) out of French hurdler (15f winner) Parcelle de Sou. Last of 3 finishers completed starts in Irish points, pulled up last time (Feb 28).
Showed nothing on his recent debut at Ayr. Tongue strap on for 1st time.
Looked more ungenuine than green prior to pulling up on last month's debut at Market Rasen.
€58,000 Affinisea gelding who shaped with plenty of encouragement amidst inexperience when third in a Southwell bumper (15.8f) on debut in February, staying on to almost grab second. Sets a good standard.

Forecasts
Sea Tempest (11/10), Hold The Throw (11/4), Saint Cunning (5/1), Royalty Row'd (17/2), Killygowan (12/1), Ballynulto (22/1), Clova Chocolate (80/1), Busted Springs (125/1)
SEA TEMPEST showed plenty in a warm-looking race at Southwell on his debut in February and has to be considered the one to beat, though strong market support for one of the newcomers would alter the picture, with Hold The Throw particularly interesting having joined a yard with both an excellent bumper and course record after finishing runner-up on his sole outing in Irish points. Royalty Row'd and Saint Cunning are others to note.
- Sea Tempest11/10
- Hold The Throw11/4
