Pastorius gelding who overcame extreme greenness to make a winning start in 7-runner bumper at Taunton (2m) last month, just holding on after idling late on. Sure to improve and this looks a good opportunity under a penalty.

Shaped like a stayer on the first of 2 starts in bumpers for Christian Williams last summer. More one for longer trips over jumps in due course.

£54,000 brother to French hurdler Iban Roque. Showed only a bit in a well-contested bumper at Newbury on debut in March but could fare appreciably better in these calmer waters.

Forecasts

Master Roque (10/11), Lost In The Dream (5/4), Mayo (12/1), Monsieur Fernand (16/1), Five Lanes (18/1)

Verdict

There's surely more to come from LOST IN THE DREAM, who overcame notable greenness when making a successful start to his career at Taunton last month, so he's taken to defy a penalty. Master Roque finished down the field in a valuable bumper at Newbury on his debut but is likely to show the benefit of that initial outing now eased appreciably in grade.
