Jonathan Neesom Memorial Open Hunters' Chase

Made it third time lucky in hunters at Stratford (21f, soft) in March. Good second to a prolific sort in a point since and the one to beat here.

Brother to smart chaser winner Only By Night and this multiple point winner landed this race last year (at Cheltenham) on his first start under Rules. Disappointing on his return to the hunter field at Exeter in March but has won a point since. The obvious threat to Corporal Jackjones.

Fairly useful form without winning in hunters in recent years. Has won 3 small-field points this spring but might be vulnerable to younger legs back under Rules.

Lost his way for Paul Webber but very much revived by current yard, winning 4 points before scoring comfortably on 3m Huntingdon hunter debut last May. Unseated first at Stratford later that month. In good form again in the pointing field this year, winning in March/April (second latest).
