Creditable sixth in this last year. Encouraging second in Boyne Hurdle on return and ran as well as he's ever done when 2¼ lengths second of 4 to James du Berlais in Navan Grade 2 chase last month. Could go well despite clear top weight.

Second in the Paddy Power at Leopardstown (3m) over Christmas. Pulled up in the Thyestes at Gowran next time but set to play a very big hand in the finish when unseating at the last in the Ultima at Cheltenham last month, virtually upsides and seemingly with running left. Big player.

Failed to fire in the Broadway at the Cheltenham Festival but produced a smart effort to win a 3m Naas Grade 3 prior to that and remains a really smart prospect for handicap chases. Promises to stay long distances.

Left his first 2 efforts over fences behind when winning 3m Navan maiden chase in January. Creditable 16 lengths seventh of 14 to stablemate Kitzbuhel when pitched into Grade 1 company at the Cheltenham Festival since. Unexposed as a stayer now moving into his first handicap. Tongue tie added.

Quick to go chasing and has taken very well to it, winning 3 of his 4 starts, including a 3m Ascot Grade 2 novice last time. Stamina is unlikely to be an issue and this progressive British raider makes obvious appeal.

Point/bumper winner who has taken well to fences this winter, seeing off Kiss Will in 23f Punchestown maiden before 6¾ lengths fourth to C'est Ta Chance in Grade 3 novice at Thurles (21.5f). Steps up significantly up in trip with tongue tie also added. Interesting handicap newcomer for shrewd yard.

Fourth in last year's Welsh National so stamina isn't a worry. Reacted well to first-time blinkers when third of 23 in Kim Muir at Cheltenham (3¼m, good) 25 days ago. His yard has tasted success in this before.

Likeable mare who finished third in the Galway Plate last summer and added another placed effort in a big handicap when third of 18 in the Thyestes at Gowran (25f, heavy) in January. Kept fresh for this since (seventh last year). The mount of Jack Kennedy from the Elliott contingent.

SEARCH FOR GLORY may have won the Ultima at Cheltenham but for unseating at the last and is taken to gain compensation and provide Gordon Elliott with a second Irish Grand National. The Jukebox Kid and One Big Bang, who was third in the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham are strong contenders from Britain. Argento Boy and Joystick are Willie Mullins handicap newcomers who leave the impression they could be suited by long distances, while the progressive Showurappreciation also merits respect.
