Dual bumper winner who reached a useful level over hurdles last season. Bright start in this sphere when chasing home a 4-y-o in a Punchestown maiden (23f) in December prior to falling there later that month. Remains with plenty of potential in this sphere.
Fair maiden hurdler but, after 9 months off, wasn't able to match that level when fourth of 9 in maiden at Thurles (20.9f, heavy) on debut over fences 28 days ago, making mistakes. Improvement required.
Fairly useful form when landing 11-runner novice hurdle at Kilbeggan (19f) in spring 2024. However, absent 16 months prior to having a considerate introduction when last of 9 in a Gowran maiden chase (20f) 5 weeks ago. Tongue strap goes on now but best watched.
Made a winning start in handicap hurdles for Nicky Henderson and, after 7 months off, followed up on stable debut in 11-runner event at Limerick (20f, soft, 2/1) in December 2024. Off since and whilst he's an interesting runner, his yard look to hold much stronger claims with Ballygunner Castle.
5-y-o gelding who has finished well held in pair of maiden chase contests at Thurles/Gowran in recent weeks.
Related to above-average jumpers but he's looked a work-in-progress in bumpers/maiden hurdles in recent months. Likely to flourish at a later stage, probably when handicapping in this sphere.
Struggled for form last season, including when well held on chase debut, and after 6-month absence off she offered little when twelfth of 18 in handicap hurdle at Listowel (18f, good to soft, 25/1) in September. Others preferred back chasing.
Won a maiden hurdle impressively last July, leading 3 out and going clear. Fourth of 7 in a maiden chase at Naas (20.1f) 38 days ago, making headway under pressure early in straight but awkward at the last. That was a fair effort and should improve over fences for excellent stable.
Fairly useful hurdler who landed back-to-back handicaps at up to 3m initially this season. Off 6 months, probably needed the run when seventh of 10 in maiden chase at Thurles on debut over fences 21 days ago and this promises to reveal more.

Forecasts
Ballygunner Castle (4/7), Strutter (3/1), Neon Diamond (5/1), Goody Four Shoes (16/1), Nytol (33/1), Lep Around (50/1), Poet's Gale (50/1), Haveigotnewsforyou (50/1), L'amiral Fromentin (150/1)
This looks a gilt-edged opportunity for Willie Mullins' BALLYGUNNER CASTLE, who has displayed useful form over both hurdles and fences and he can make amends for a fall when last seen at Punchestown in December. Neon Diamond and Strutter, a stablemate of the selection head up the dangers.
