Peter Beaumont Memorial Open Hunters' Chase

Fairly useful chaser for Henry De Bromhead including when respectable third of 12 in handicap chase at Wexford (25.3f, good to soft, 11/1) in August. Well held in recent point on debut for new yard, though.

Well beaten in Foxhunters last term but had won hunters at Cheltenham and Stratford the previous year and will be fit from an outing between the flags last month. Respected.

Finished last home in recent points outing and has plenty to find on Rules form.

Acquitted himself well in both hunter chase outings (Ludlow winner last April) and arrives on back of creditable second of 5 in handicap chase at same course (25.6f, good to soft) 59 days ago. One of likelier contenders.

Fairly useful chaser who got back on the up when making successful debut for Simon Edwards at Uttoxeter (2m) in September. Justified favouritism in a pair of points for new yard since and was found to have bled when pulled up at Ludlow earlier this month. Shortlisted.

Fair hurdler at best but not seen under Rules for over 3 years and was last of 5 home in Point last May. Best watched on return here. Had wind operation.

Back-to-back winner in veterans' handicaps towards the end of 2023 and made the frame in 5 of his 6 starts last term, including when creditable third of 8 in handicap chase at Newbury (26f, good to soft) last March. Holds strong claims on hunter debut.

Winner of 2023 Midlands Grand National but largely disappointed thereafter, including when sixth in Eider Chase last February. Run respectably in both Points starts for new connections but others are other convincing.

Fairly useful performer for Willie Mullins in 2023/24 and notched second success between the flags in November. Offered more than on hunter debut when second of 8 at Warwick (24f, soft) 8 days ago and can make presence felt here. Cheekpieces on first time.

Fair chaser at best but not seen under Rules for 23 months and last month's return between the flags didn't offer much emcouragement.

Three-time winner over fences who has also been twice successful between the flags. Posted solid third on return in that sphere earlier this month and will be dangerous if able to build on that here.

Seven-race maiden under Rules and pulled up on return in points earlier this month. Hard to recommend.
