Horse A-Z
Walk In The Park gelding. Half-brother to modest hurdler Cindysox, stays 21f. Successful sole outing in points (Nov 22) and one to take seriously on Rules debut. Wears tongue strap.
Timeform
Vadamos gelding. Closely related to useful hurdler Largy Debut, stays 25f, and half-brother to 5 winners, including fair hurdler/useful chaser A Little Magic. Dam (h85) bumper winner. Would enter the reckoning if supported in the betting.
|
Timeform
£250,000 point winner who built on his debut promise when second to a good prospect at Fairyhouse in November. Left poorly placed in steadily-run affair at Leopardstown subsequently and remains better judged on previous form.
|
Timeform
Won sole outing in points and made a promising Rules debut when second of 18 in valuable bumper at Punchestown for Stuart Crawford (16.7f, good to soft) in April. Has since transferred to Willie Mullins and has leading claims.
|
Timeform
Produced best effort to date when second of 5 in C&D bumper (good to soft) 23 days ago. This is tougher.
|
Timeform
Sent off 50/1 and ran to only a modest level when sixth of 11 in bumper at Leopardstown (16.2f, good) on NH debut 27 days ago.
|
Timeform
Well held in a pair of maiden hurdles prior to run best excused in C&D bumper (saddle slipped halfway).

Forecasts

Green Hint (1/1), Generous Risk (5/2), Barnpark (5/1), Cocofred (7/1), Some See Stars (12/1), Yanure (20/1), Layenda (100/1)

Verdict

GREEN HINT showed plenty when runner-up in a valuable race at Punchestown last April and is the percentage call to go one better having joined Willie Mullins. Generous Risk has some good form in the book too and can have his latest effort overlooked having been left poorly placed in a steadily-run affair, while Barnpark and Cocofred are a couple of Rules newcomers to note.
