Useful Flat stayer SARATOGA made a promising start in this sphere when third at Punchestown and, with improvement on the cards, he gets the nod. Shuttle Diplomacy left his previous hurdles form well behind when second in a big-field Limerick maiden over Christmas and will ensure that Saratoga doesn't have things all his own way. Straight John is third choice, while Lincoln Du Seuil is likely to do better before long and The Dotski is a noteworthy newcomer.
