Useful hurdler and proved even better switched to fences last term, bagging the Grade 2 Rising Stars at Wincanton. Mostly creditable efforts in defeat since but needs to bounce back from a disappointing effort in the Peterborough Chase last month.

Developed into one of the leading novice 2m chasers last season, winning 3 times, including Grade 1 at Aintree on final start, again impressing with jumping. Proved somewhat disappointing when third in Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter on return but has been freshened up since and remains with potential.

Smart chaser who has registered 7 victories over the larger obstacles. Put below-par Cheltenham return behind him when creditable second in Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon (19.9f, soft) last month and receives weight from all his rivals here.
