Useful hurdler who shaped with promise after 7 months off third of 4 in conditions event at Exeter (17.5f, soft) on his debut over fences 31 days ago. Sure to do better and holds leading claims.

Useful on Flat for Aidan O'Brien and made a winning hurdle/stable debut at Sandown last February. Looked rusty after 12 months off when twelfth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Ascot (15.7f, good to soft) on his recent return. Goes chasing now and no forlorn hope.

Useful form when bagging his first 3 starts over hurdles around 2m, including a Haydock Grade 2. Pulled up both runs subsequently at Haydock and Kelso though but this point winner remains with potential now going chasing after 10 months off.

A fairly useful 2m5f winning hurdler for Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole last term. Off 6 months before coming in a well-held seventh on his yard debut in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (19.9f, soft) 66 days ago. More is needed starting out in this sphere.

Harry Fry has his string in excellent nick so his BEAT THE BAT is fancied to build on the promise of his chasing debut Exeter third and add to his winning tally. Roadlesstravelled was pulled up at Kelso when last seen on the track ten months ago but this points scorer could emerge as the main danger ahead of fellow chasing newcomer Peking Opera.
