Perked up by first-time blinkers during second half of last season, winning a brace of handicaps over fences at Kelso. Respectable effort back hurdling last month but chasing more his bag.
Won 3 on the bounce last spring, completing the hat-trick with a narrow success at Uttoxeter. Well below form next 4 starts but looked back to best after 3 months off when second at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago despite meeting significant interference. Looks ready to strike.
Had an excellent 2022/23 campaign, winning Sky Bet at Doncaster and second in Scottish National at Ayr. However, following season was a write off and missed all of 2024/25. Best watched.
Losing run stretches back 3 years but went close 3 times this spring. However, ran one of his lesser races over C&D 6 weeks ago.
Four-time C&D winner who took a step back in the right direction when second of 5 in handicap chase at Ayr in January but offered little back hurdling after 4 months off here 24 days ago.
Hurdles winner here who is on a losing run (maiden over fences) but went agonisingly close to bucking that trend after 6 months off at Kelso in April. However, soon done with here following month and now steps up in trip.
Progressive hurdler/chaser who completed hat-trick back hurdling after a 9-month break at Warwick in April. Good second back over fences at Market Rasen last month and seems sure to go well again.
Debut winner over hurdles last summer. Winless since but latest second in novice chase at Kilbeggan was her best effort yet despite being friendless in the betting. Could have more to offer now handicapping in this sphere.
Dual winner over hurdles who was fit from points when off the mark at the second attempt over fences in C&D hunter last month, though his jumping was hardly tested with the pace slow and 4 of the scheduled 18 fences omitted. Will find this more demanding.

Hardy Diamond (5/2), Can't Beat History (4/1), Imperial Alex (9/2), Half Shot (7/1), Ganapathi (10/1), Glen Cannel (11/1), Garde Des Champs (12/1), Wasdell Dundalk (16/1), Cooper's Cross (20/1), Everyday Champagne (20/1)
IMPERIAL ALEX looked back to his very best despite suffering significant interference when second at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago and shades the vote over Can't Beat History, who remains on the upgrade. Hardy Diamond is another to consider making her handicap debut in this sphere.
