Useful staying handicapper on the Flat for James Fanshawe who is a half-brother to useful hurdler Burdett Road and has looked a fine prospect himself over obstacles, totally dominant for second win at this track in November. Will take plenty of stopping.
Ex-French performer who cemented excellent start to his career when winning 5-runner juvenile hurdle at Auteuil (17.4f, soft) by 1½ lengths from Sony Bill. Off 7 months. First run for yard after leaving Mathieu Pitart and having joined powerful stable, he needs considering. Tongue tie on.
Useful form over hurdles, winning juveniles at Compiegne in May and October (comfortably, by 3 lengths from Coeur d'Amour). 12½ lengths sixth of 7 to Coeur d'Amour in Group 3 Prix General de Saint-Didier there last time. Takes strong hold and waiting tactics employed but has share of ability.
Fairly useful form over hurdles in France, confirming debut promise when successful at Dieppe. Acquired for €130,000 and didn't need to improve to go one better than on yard debut in 8-runner juvenile at Fontwell (17.7f). Did progress when dead-heating with Teriferma in a C&D juvenile last month.
Took well to hurdling with wins at Killarney and Down Royal in August. Ran well attempting to concede plenty of weight when second at Listowel the following month and matched that form on stable debut when dead-heating with Quantock Hills over C&D last month.
A fair Flat winner for Jessica Macey over 2m who is built for hurdling and made his stamina count when making a winning start for new connections at Newbury last month. Bare form isn't anything flash but he can improve.
Fairly useful staying handicapper on Flat for Michael Bell (47,000 gns buy for new connections). Made a promising start over hurdles at Sandown 3 weeks ago, sticking to his task despite his inexperience showing over the last 2 flights. Since landed the odds without too much fuss at Fontwell.
Fairly useful form over hurdles, 2½ lengths second of 9 to Raffles Dolce Vita in juvenile at Auteuil last time. Left Francois Nicolle for €450,000 in July and while he's been off the track since, he's in good hands.
Fair on Flat and has quickly reached a higher level over hurdles, winning twice and better than ever when third in Grade 2 company at Chepstow a month ago. Well behind East India Dock when the pair clashed prior to that.
Fairly useful on Flat (stays 1½m), successful at Hamilton last time. Sold from K. R. Burke 150,000 gns later in July and this no easy introduction to hurdling.

Forecasts
East India Dock (1/2), Quantock Hills (10/1), Sauvignon (10/1), Stencil (11/1), Believitanducan (14/1), Teriferma (16/1), Mambonumberfive (20/1), Torrent (40/1), Galactic Charm (40/1), Victory Shout (150/1)
EAST INDIA DOCK ran out an 18-length winner of the Prestbury Juvenile Hurdle at this course in November and with that form well in advance of the opposition, he can cement his position as a genuine Triumph Hurdle contender. Stencil has his share of ability but is not yet the finished article, so Sauvignon is offered for forecast purposes.
