It's now thirteen runs since his last win in 2018. 28/1, first run since leaving Gordon Elliott when below-par fifth of 7 in handicap chase over C&D 26 days ago. Needs lot more.
Fairly useful 17f winner over hurdles who (11/2) shaped encouragingly on chasing bow after 8 months off when fourth of 11 in handicap at Sedgefield (19.3f), fading from 2 out. More to come so player.
Useful handicap chaser at his best but still to get his head in front and arrives out of sorts, beating only one over C&D last time. Hard to warm to.
Ex-French gelding who showed much improved form for current yard when landing 2m handicap chase at Taunton 13 days ago. 5 lb rise looks to have underestimated him so holds leading claims.
Twice runner-up in 2m maiden hurdles in France in 2018 but didn't match that for current yard, only fifth in Huntingdon maiden final run. Reappears after wind op for chasing bow so not written of yet.
Fortuitous winner of 21f Ludlow novice hurdle for Nicky Henderson in May and ran poorly on return for new yard when remote sixth in 2m Perth novice. Goes chasing now with questions to answer.
Fair 2m hurdle winner. Made encouraging chasing bow when third in 2m handicap at Hexham only to disappoint when ninth over 20f at Ayr 30 days ago. Back in trip with bit to prove now.
Exelerator Express (11/8), Funambule Sivola (7/2), Doukarov (9/2), Beat Box (13/2), Tidal Watch (17/2), Palixandre (28/1), Global Jackpot (33/1)
DOUKAROV looks to have got in lightly raised just 5 lb for his recent Taunton success so gets the vote here at the chief expense of Exelerator Express who shaped well when fourth at Sedgefield on his chasing bow and is greatly feared. Funambule Sivola has yet to lift off for Venetia Williams but could easily take a big step forward now switched to fences so is not ruled out.
