Wide-margin winner of an AW maiden at Kempton in February before struggling in classier company back on turf (Listed/Group 2); 9L third at Haydock on h'cap bow (1m6f, soft; 12-1) early last month and more required having eased only 1lb.
Slade Power gelding has won four on the spin since going handicapping; latest over this trip at Haydock (good to soft; 9-5f) by 1L. Up another 7lb but far from certain that handicapper has got him cornered.
Won both starts last year at a mile and pleasing return/h'cap bow at Haydock in June when fourth in decent contest over 1m2f. Rather emptied in competitive 1m4f Royal Ascot handicap afterwards and this longer trip is a concern.
Camelot filly; opened her account second time of asking in 1m4f Ascot novice last month and 6L third in Class 4 Newmarket handicap since off 82. Looks progressive and no shock to find her improved again for longer trip give her trainer.
Colt by Camelot; won 12-runner heavy-ground novice at Newbury over 1m on sole start last year; not really looked like landing a blow in three runs this season (including this trip) but is getting relief from assessor now.
Forecasts
Revolver (6/5), Punctuation (7/2), Dancing Harry (9/2), Margaret Dumont (15/2), Oleksander (15/2)
Despite his latest 7lb rise in the ratings, Sir Mark Prescott's REVOLVER may prove good enough to make it 5-5 for the season. He looked to be keeping something for himself last time at Haydock and has scope for more still. Punctuation may find this quicker ground a benefit while a stern stamina test can eke some more from Margaret Dumont too.
