Promising return to action this month on AW at Kempton (third) over a mile but much less pleasing since at Newmarket (1m2f, good); back within 2lb of previous win-mark and not ruled out down in trip.
Twice a winner last summer over 6f on turf; hasn't really been threatening since moving to this trainer but Oisin Murphy booked to steer now and that takes the eye; watch betting.
An 18-race maiden but has threatened to get on the board on the AW; including ½L second at Chelmsford (1m) in February; not ruled out back on turf from reduced mark.
Filly returned to action in good style when scoring at Lingfield (7f, AW) earlier in the month and can be given a chance from a 2lb higher mark switched to turf.
Dual course winner, including this trip, now 11-years-old and never any threat over C&D this month when tailed off in last on his 100th career start. Opposable on that evidence.
Mare wasn't unfancied in the betting over 7f here earlier in the month but finished well-held fifth of nine; winner here in August last year and she should be sharper for that recent run.
Seven career wins on artificial surfaces but 0-27 previously on turf; poor when last out at Southwell in the spring and remains opposable back on grass.
Forecasts
Bullington Boy (10/3), Gold At Midnight (10/3), Catch My Breath (4/1), Spanish Mane (9/2), Kennocha (11/2), Lunar Deity (14/1), Limerick Lord (16/1)
Catch My Breath returned with plenty promise at Kempton but was disappointing since at Newmarket and needs to bounce back. Gold At Midnight has dropped to a very workable mark and the booking of the champion jockey is eye-catching but preference is for recent Lingfield winner KENNOCHA, back on turf from a 2lb higher mark and with in-form Tom Marquand taking over. She may be able to dictate again and stays this trip no problem.
