Like most of this field, a newcomer; first foal, half-sister to 1m6f winner Cape Liberty and 7f winner Abby Hatcher, dam 1m winner. First 2yo runner of the season for the yard, 21-284 in this sphere last five years; overall best watched for his debut
Yard 0-6 in 2yo so far this year; £40,000 yearling, first foal, dam 2yo winner over 1m who stayed 2f further. Hard to see her playing a major part in this with one of two pedigrees reading a little more sharply, best watched for now.
Yet to get off the mark with a 2yo (limited number of runners in this sphere); €35,000 yearling, fourth foal. Half-sister to useful 2yo 6f winner Comedy, 1m winner Droderic; dam 2yo 1m winner. Probably best watched unless market speaks in her favour.
Bred to be useful, half-sister to several winners, showed plenty of ability on her debut (only faded late on) at Newmarket (6f, good/firm) to finish fourth. Race looks as though it could have been a deep one likely to progress on this second run.
Sole nomination from this yard from balloting by BHA in 2yo races; has a rather odd pedigree. Went with little encouragement on debut Newcastle (5f, slow), left behind quickly (finished last); may be capable of better but looks to face stiff task.

With all bar two of this field making their debuts this makes little appeal as a betting medium but it’s the experience gained at Newmarket by PUBLICIST that makes her of interest. She showed up well behind one who looks Royal Ascot bound next week and she’ll know a lot more this time around. Of those making their debuts the eye is naturally drawn to John Gosden’s Isle Of May who cost €250,000 as a foal and despite the absence of a 2yo winner for the yard they are in the main going well. Bella Notte should be noted in the market with Magisterium and Livia The Empress another duo who could attract some interest.
