Improving hurdler that didn't have to be at his best to score at Fontwell last time out; looked useful when scoring in heavy ground at Chepstow the time before, so ground no issue, but carrying the double penalty will make life tougher.

Form of last two starts stacking up well, defeat of Trincomalee (winner since) at Leicester and then second to Monday's Plumpton winner Calve D'Auge at Wincanton; handles heavy ground, more to come and looks a big player here.

Jumped poorly when third at Plumpton on latest start but still showed a bit of promise; biting off a bit too much here though, and will be of more interest in handicaps after today.

Looked to have the world as his oyster as a novice back in 2018 but not seen out since finishing second to Angels Breath in the December of that year; likely to need the run and this ground will find out any fitness concerns, but clearly useful.

Some promise to be taken from his Chepstow bumper effort in December but two starts either that less so, and this simply looks too tough a task on his hurdles debut today.

Last RunWatch last race

Only beaten a couple of horses home in two starts but it wasn't a disaster behind Beaufort West at Fontwell last time; still plenty to do here though, and others readily preferred.

Last RunWatch last race

Definite signs of ability in two bumpers but well beaten on hurdles debut at Doncaster last month, and simply looks a bit outclassed today.

Danny Kirwan (13/8), Faire Part Sivola (7/4), Beaufort West (9/4), Call Off The Dogs (33/1), Motdepas (33/1), Lamanver Storm (33/1), Eyes Up (66/1), Numitor (66/1)

If Danny Kirwan is fit and ready to go after an absence then he will be the one to beat, as his form really stands out in this company, but this ground will be very testing and will expose any chinks in his armour as far as his fitness goes. Beaufort West is improving nicely but a double penalty leaves him with a welter burden to carry, and preference is for FAIRE PART SIVOLA, who has excellent recent form to call upon, is proven in the ground, and comes into this as an improving horse.
