- Leicester Annual Badge Holders Novices' Hurdle (Class 3)
- 1m 7f 113y, Soft (Heavy in places)
- 8 Runners
- Surface: Turf
Progressive novice who impressed with a wide margin win at Ffos Las (2m, soft) in November, and improved again when second under a penalty behind a Nicky Henderson hotpot at Cheltenham last month. Should outclass this field.
Pulled up on debut last March and then after switching to this stable, went off at 100-1 and showed minor promise in a Uttoxeter maiden hurdle (2m, heavy) last month. Can only watch this time.
Showed a bit of ability in two bumper runs and bettered that on his hurdles debut at Hereford (2m3½f, soft) last month. Can probably go on to pick up a race, but this looks very tough.
Dual AW Flat winner at up to 1m4½f . 66-1 on Kelso hurdles debut (2m, soft) recently, but ran with promise to be fourth there. Can step up on that this time and should be capable of battling for minor honours.
Beaten a long way when 20-1 on debut at Plumpton in October. Improved on that despite beating just one home at Warwick last time, but needs a massive step up on that to take a hand here.
Fell in his first two Irish points before winning easily at the third attempt last spring. Changed hands in May, and now makes rules debut. Half-brother to two French hurdle winners, so worth a market check.
40-1 and ran well on debut when 12½L fourth of eight in a Fakenham maiden hurdle (2m4f, soft) last month. If he can build on that promise this time, he has place claims.
Showed promise in a Huntingdon bumper (2m, soft) in March 2018, when with Kim Bailey, but not quite as good on hurdles debut later that year (sole run for Olly Murphy). Probably best watched on debut for this yard after a year off.
