- Jim Williamson Memorial Handicap Hurdle (Class 3)
- 3m 1f,
- 5 Runners
- Surface: Turf
Has been in good form over hurdles recently with two wins from his last three starts. He had to settle for second place of four last time at Kelso (2m5f) after going off as the 10/11 favourite. Has gone up 4lb here but he can't be discounted.
Prevailed for the sixth time over hurdles at Ayr (3mv½f) on his latest run. He was held up at the rear of the field and made his successful challenge in the closing stages of the race. Has gone up 4lb in the weights. One to consider.
Made a winning return to action at Chepstow (2m7½f) last time out in a 12 runner field. He was staying on strongly at the finish to suggest this latest trip will suit. Has gone up 6lb in the weights. Leading contender.
Has hit the frame on his last two starts but has been unable to get his nose in front. He was second of six on his latest outing at Ffos Las (2m6f). Remains off the same mark here. Stepping up in trip. One for the shortlist.
Remains a maiden after 15 starts. He was second of six on his return to action after a wind surgery at Kelso (3m2f) last time out. Has gone up 2lb for that near miss. Will need to find more to gain his first success.
