Broke his maiden when winning at Lingfield (1m, Polytrack) back in June. Not seen since but still lightly raced after nine starts and, despite a 5lb rise, should have no problems under these conditions.

Landed a Nursery at Wolverhampton (1m½f, Tapeta) 12 months ago and ran to that level when fourth on her seasonal debut. Her two subsequent runs have been poor, however, and she now has questions to answer.

Joined Roger Varian looking well-handicapped and duly obliged with a last-gasp victory at Lingfield (1m, Polytrack) 23 days ago. Only up 3lb for that and could have more to come on just his second outing for this yard.

Consistent in three starts for David Lanigan since coming from France, the best of those efforts over C&D two runs ago. Drop back to 7f may not have suited last time and is fairly handicapped on her form this season.

Sent off favourite when missing the break and not getting a clear run over 7f here four weeks ago. Not badly handicapped on his placed efforts at Kempton (both 1m, Polytrack) during last Winter but will need a career best to take this.

Ability in three runs in novice company, winning the last of those at Bath (1m, firm) in July, with the runner-up winning twice since. Something seemingly amiss at Nottingham (1m½f, soft) last time but can't be ruled out on previous efforts.

Made a winning handicap debut at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm) in April before racing too freely under an apprentice the following week. Not seen since but still unexposed and open to improvement if ready to go after six months off.

12-race maiden who hasn't built an the odd promising effort and despite dropping 9lb in the weights this season, hasn't looked like taking advantage in recent starts, including here on Thursday night. First try beyond 7f here.

Made a winning start for this yard at Wolverhampton (1m1½f, Tapeta) and continued in good heart on his next five outings. Well beaten last time at Newcastle (1m, Tapeta) and remains 5lb above his last winning mark.

Won off 1lb lower at Hamilton (1m1f, soft) but has been a mixed bag since then. Easy enough to excuse his defeat at Redcar (1m, heavy) last time in a much better race and isn't without a chance on his best form.

Forecasts

Bobby Biscuit (5/6), Punjab Mail (7/1), Desert Lion (8/1), Camelot Rakti (9/1), Al Reeh (12/1), Glory of Paris (12/1), Nawar (16/1), Bollihope (16/1), Creek Island (16/1), Take It Down Under (20/1), City Of Love (25/1)

Verdict

Having joined Roger Varian on a decent mark, BOBBY BISCUIT duly obliged on stable debut to win cosily at Lingfield. Only up 3lb for that, he gets the verdict to follow-up here. Having been progressive in the Summer, Desert Lion obviously wasn't right at Nottingham last time out and he remains open to improvement after just four runs whilst another lightly raced runner in Take It Down Under could easily get involved if 100% ready after his absence.
