Nicely-bred individual that has shown plenty of promise in his four starts, and promises to be better again once learning to settle better. Opening mark looks fair enough and if ready to go after a break, looks one of the main players.
Fully exposed 7yo that has won a couple of starts, both of them here, but a beaten favourite a few too many times for comfort. Yard's runners never dismissed here but is vulnerable to anything with improvement, and may want better ground.
Consistent sort that tends to win in his turn, and bounced back to a bit of form on the Flat with a length defeat at Bath last time. Seems to find all ground comes alike, and looks more likely to run his race than a few. Chances from a fair mark.
Been fairly consistent throughout the summer and continued in that vein with a close second at Kelso last time out, rallying gamely late. Has the advantage of fitness and a course win to his name, but soft ground possibly not ideal.
Only a head behind Outcrop here three starts ago and every chance of reversing the form at these weights, but is an infrequent winner these days and the handicapper pretty much has his measure. Needs to bounce back from a bad fall last time too.
Consistent but tricky to win with, as a record of 4 wins in 50 starts (under all codes) shows. Every chance he will run his race once again after some solid efforts on the Flat but equally, a surprise if something isn't good enough to beat him.
Looking well handicapped these days, 3lb lower than his last win (which came in 2018) and showed a bit more on latest start, but yet to win on ground this slow and on that, others make a bit more appeal.
Forecasts
G'day Aussie (3/1), Outcrop (3/1), Little Rory Mac (3/1), Nabhan (5/1), Cousin Oscar (11/2), Borak (11/1), Prince Khurram (16/1)
The majority of these are well known by the handicapper and have little in the way of secrets from him, but that doesn't apply to the lightly-raced LITTLE RORY MAC and he might well be good enough on handicap debut today. The Bernard Llewellyn pair of Borak and Nabhan tend to run their races more often than not, and both have place chances. Outcrop might want better ground but is consistent and should be thereabouts.
