Has been narrowly denied on three occasions this season, including when second of seven at Salisbury (5f) back in June, beaten by a head. Was disappointing last time at Goodwood (5f) so needs to bounce but 4lb drop in the weights will help.
Scored for the first time since his lay-off at Sandown (5f) last month where he justified going off as the 13/8 favourite. Up 3lb but he has scored off a 1lb higher mark than this so he has a great chance of following up with more success.
Scored twice on the AW last year but is still bidding for his opening success on turf. He was fifth of eight over this C&D on his first run for his new yard last time. Remains off the same so he will need to produce more here.
Was a C&D winner here last year when her form was solid. She has struggled so far this season, including on her latest start where she was last of five over the extended 5f trip at Brighton. Has to improve to be in the mix in this contest.
Was successful over this C&D last time in what was her first win of the season. Has been raised 8lb by the handicapper so she will need to produce a career best to follow up her latest victory. Remains a leading contender.
Experienced gelding who has been on a long losing stretch. He was seventh of nine over this C&D on his latest start. Has been eased 3lb which is much lower than his last success. Form is a real concern so others are preferred.
