Broke his maiden over hurdles at Ballinrobe (2m1½f) back in April. Has been placed on both of his chase starts since then, including latest at Punchestown (2m5f). Down in trip which should suit. Each-way claims.
Lightly-raced gelding who broke his maiden over hurdles two starts back at Wexford (2m4f). Was a long way back last time at Tipperary (2m4f) on his handicap debut. First start over fences here so one to watch.
Was successful twice over hurdles in France but has yet to score in the UK or Ireland. Unseated his rider at Warwick (2m) on his chase debut but then was much better when he finished third of 14 last time at Wexford (2m). One for shortlist.
Has yet to score in his five starts so far, all of which have come over hurdles. Went off as the 9/4 favourite in a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan (2m) last month where he was third of 12. Watch out for any market support on chase debut.
Still looking for his first win after eight races. He fell at the last on his chase debut at Clonmel (2m) when he was held. Tongue-tie on for the first time today. Needs to show more over fences than modest hurdles campaign. One to watch.
Was very successful in his novice hurdle career but has yet to get off the mark in his three chase attempts so far, however, he has shown some promise. Was pulled up last time early into the race where something was amiss. Looks capable. Big player.
Has been well beaten on his two starts over fences so far. Returned to hurdles for his latest outing at Bellewstown (2m4f) where he was eighth of 14. Dropping down in trip but needs to improve on what he has shown in chasing so far.
Has now had two runs over fences and he improved on his debut to finish second of 14 at Wexford (2m) last time where he was staying on strongly at the finish. Open to further improvement. One to consider.
Has yet to score in 18 starts over obstacles. Switched yards earlier this year but hasn't improved. He has been a long way down the field in his two chase starts where he hasn't been fancied in the betting. Hard to make a case for.
Broke his maiden over hurdles last August at Downpatrick (2m3f). Was a long way down the field on his two chase starts earlier this season. Returning to action following a break here where much more is needed. Others preferred.
His sole success in his career so far came at Wexford in a 2m maiden hurdle in July 2018. Featured three times over fences earlier this season, with his best finish coming when third of eight at Fairyhouse (2m1f). Not one that makes a great appeal.
Has had 10 races over fences now where he has finished in the frame on eight of those starts. Was third of seven last time at Killarney (2m1f). First appearance in 12 months so may need the run. One to watch.
Lightly-raced gelding who has featured six times over hurdles with no success. Was last seen at Clonmel (2m3f) in a maiden hurdle where he was eighth of 16. Has switched yards and now trying chasing for the first time. Needs to improve.
Won two consecutive races over hurdles earlier this season, both of which came over 2m but he has struggled with his handicap mark since then. Interesting on his first start over fences but best to watch for now.
Has featured just three times in his career so far, all of which have come over hurdles. Has yet to be competitive in his appearances so far. Needs to take a huge step forward to be in the mix here.
Forecasts
Jan Maat (5/2), Cenotice (11/4), Djingle (6/1), Cut Em Down (9/1), Global Jackpot (10/1), Gold Seal (16/1), Paris Texas (16/1), Roconga (20/1), Everlastingpromise (20/1), Vinnwarr (28/1), Generalisation (28/1), Play The Part (33/1), Western Sea (33/1), Pilbara (100/1), Lambs Lane (100/1)
GLOBAL JACKPOT does not look to far away from his opening chase success if you put a line through his last start where he was pulled up early into the race after something going amiss. He was rated as high as 141 as a hurdler so if he can transfer some of that form to chasing, he will be winning races like this. Jan Maat improved on his second chase start last time and a repeat of that performance will see him go close, while Djingle was in with a chance at the finish on his last appearance and should be there again here where he will set the pace.
