Two from two to date, green on debut at Nottingham but overcame that to score well (form franked since) and then showed a willing attitude to win at York. Clearly going the right way and no reason not to improve again here.

Debut winner at Ayr, staying on strongly to score with plenty in hand at the finish and was far from disgraced when finishing midfield in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. Unlikely we've seen the best of him yet and on form, has chances.

Very easy winner on second start at Ripon but in truth, hasn't really progressed from that, although has run well in defeat at both Epsom (probably went too hard early) and Ascot. Chance on form but could do with another step forward here.

Sprang a 33-1 surprise on debut at Windsor, but there was no fluke about it and he won it tidily, leaving the impression there was plenty more to come. He'll need that here, as the bare form leaves him with plenty to find, but can't be discounted.

Invincible Spirit colt that could not have been more impressive on debut at York, making all and coming right away for a 5l victory (in a good time too). That form not really working out as yet, but hard to knock what he achieved all the same.

impressive winner on debut at Kempton, travelled well and put the issue beyond doubt with a good turn of foot at the furlong pole. Ran as well when midfield in the Queen Mary and no reason not to progress again here. Not discounted.

Verdict

Hard to rule many, if any, of these out, and any one of the seven could take a big step forward. DREAM SHOTgets the vote now he goes over 6f as he's looked very much in need of it, and the form of his Sandown second look solid. Al Aakif showed a likeable attitude when scoring at York and won't shirk a battle. Old News won well at Windsor and although that leaves him with plenty to find on the figures, it was quietly impressive and he could go well at a likely bigger price. Repartee did it with ease at York but those in behind have done little for the form.
