Son of Make Believe cost €22,000 as a yearling and €55,000 as a juvenile; fifth foal and a half brother to winners New Providence (Group 3 as a juvenile), Ekhtiyaar (juvenile sprint winner) and Ahdaf. Interesting newcomer and worth a market check.
Dandy Man colt fetched £42,000 as a yearling; a third foal and a half-brother to winners Artytype (7f juvenile winner) and Snuggy (5f juvenile winner). Stable's runners always worth a check in the market and one to note on debut.
Son of Camacho cost £80,000 as a yearling; a sixth foal to an unraced dam and a half brother to 6f juvenile winner Caius College Girl. Stable also runs fellow newcomer Light The Fuse and betting should provide a guide.
Gelded son of Gutaifan cost €15,000 as a yearling and £18,000 as a juvenile. Stable not noted for juvenile winners but he wasn't disgraced when green on last month's debut. More needed but could improve for the run.
Failed to build on the promise of his debut when held at Carlisle last time, however heavy ground was probably against him. Races in a maiden for the first time and worth another chance with his debut setting the standard.
Son of Showcasing showed some early pace at Ayr on debut in May before proving too green. Likely to improve for the run but this would require a huge step up.
Daughter of Elusive Quality and a first foal to an unraced sister to US dirt Grade 1 winner Questing. Bred to get further in time but has enough speed in her pedigree for a stable in great form, including with their juveniles. Likely type on debut.
Forecasts
Magic Twist (3/1), Dick Datchery (3/1), Light The Fuse (7/2), Macho Time (4/1), Spanish Time (9/1), Streaker (12/1), Ralphy Boy Two (25/1)
There's always a risk involved with siding with a debutante but this looks a good opening opportunity for the well bred MAGIC TWIST who represents a stable who are in such strong form. Of the other newcomers Dick Datchery catches the eye while Spanish Time is an obvious danger and sets the standard from his debut effort.
