Dual C&D scorer who has been desperately struggling for form of late. Made seasonal return from six-month off the track when a tailed off eighth of 13 at this venue last month. Look elsewhere for more realistic candidates.
Still quite lightly raced. Took advantage of a 7lb drop in the handicap when having just second start in that sphere and springing a 40-1 shock when winning at Ludlow (2m5f; good) last month. 4lb higher now but still of interest dropped in grade.
Has been the bridesmaid on each of her last three starts, most recently when second at Fakenham (2m4f; good to firm). It has now been over three years since she last tasted success but her consistency should at least allow her to play a minor role.
Improved for switch to handicaps when third behind Avithos at Exeter (2m7f; soft) two starts ago. Work to do to reverse that form and not as good since then. Could run into a place if she does have a preference for the forecast softer ground though.
Dual-purpose performer who is winless in eight attempts over hurdles but almost changed that with a close second at Cartmel (3m1f; good to soft) last month. Huge player off the same mark dropped into a Class 5.
In good form recently. Backed up her Exeter success two starts ago (which came on soft) with a respectable third at that course last time. Now just 2lb higher than for that run, and should remain competitive. One of the leading contenders.
Eight-race maiden who made handicap debut at Exeter (2m2f; good) last month when well-beaten. Dropped 5lb for that uninspiring effort. Up in trip but must do a lot more on the basis of what she has shown so far.
Reappeared in a race under rules for the first time in over a year when pulled-up at Chepstow (2m7f; good) in a Hunters' Chase. Has an off-putting record under rules and others have far superior claims.
