Daughter of Camacho and a half-sister to Flat winner Backstreet Fighter. Last seen finishing fifth of nine on debut over C&D 14 months ago. Possibly best watched on debut.
Bated Breath filly, cost €90,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to four winners. Well held in a couple of career starts including on seasonal debut at Naas over 6f earlier this month. Yard going well and one to consider on polytrack debut.
War Front filly out of Irish 1000 Guineas winner. Will have disappointed connections in three career starts to date, but did show a hint promise on seasonal debut at Leopardstown earlier this month. Leading player in this company.
Filly by Bungle Inthejungle out of a Red Ransom mare. Half-sister to winners Snaffled and Weardiditallgowrong. Started at big prices on first two career starts last month running accordingly on both starts. Others more appealing.
Filly by Dandy Man out of a Barathea mare. Dam well beaten in three career starts at Dundalk on the AW. Well beaten at big prices in a couple of career starts recently and first time hood unlikely to spark required improvement.
Form looks a lot better on turf than it does on the AW. Fourth of 18 beaten 4¼L behind I Am Superman on return to action this season at Leopardstown before looking one pace ninth of 18 at Cork on Saturday.
By Intikhab out of a Cape Cross mare. €8,000 (Vendor) as a yearling. Unraced dam closely related to 1m Group 1 winner Aqlaam. Not disgraced on debut at Gowran Park earlier this month but a big improvement needed here.
Forecasts
Arabeska (9/4), Carefully (9/4), Syrena (5/2), A Step Too Far (6/1), Yalla Go (25/1), Pretty Smart (33/1), Coolbawn Magic (40/1), Loughanlea Lass (40/1)
The Willie McCreery-trained ARABESKA ran well in defeat to finish eighth of 20 when drawn in the outside stall in a Naas 6f maiden earlier this month. The Bated Breath filly can improve on that solid run stepping back up in trip to see off the challenge of the Joseph O'Brien 12-race maiden, Syrena and Ballydoyle representative Carefully, who shaped like a filly who may need more time at Leopardstown earlier this month.
