Beaten 34L plus in three starts to date and now sets off on handicapping journey with plenty to prove. Opening mark doesn't appear generous.
Previous course winner and gained third hurdle success at Catterick in December. Third there latest and remains in good order so ought to give solid account here even if he's not obviously well handicapped.

November Leicester winner has remained basically in good form since. Third at Market Rasen latest gives him a squeak and certainly will relish condition so one for the shortlist.
