Useful, if a little hard to win with on the Flat for Tony Martin, tried to make all at Huntingdon last time but run out of after the last. That form puts him in the frame here but he does need to see out this longer trip.
Has rather lost his form although his last of six over C&D in December wasn't a dreadful effort. Nevertheless, that still leaves him with plenty to find and he may be playing for the places at best.
Didn't show a lot in three point-to-point starts but his debut effort for the yard at Carlisle earlier in the month wasn't without some promise. Needs more but young enough to improve and in a modest event, not discounted.
Lost a race in the stewards room at Fakenham in December, couldn't make amends for that back there the month after but this is much easier and with the champion jockey on board, and conditions fine, has to be taken seriously.
Has run to a similar level in all three bumper starts, looking very much in need of a step up in trip (which he gets here). Needs plenty more on hurdles debut but is at least open to improvement.
Stablemate of Animore, shown very little in two starts and finished well tailed off at Sedgefield last time out. Hard to see her taking a hand in the finish.

Landsman (13/8), Murphy's Law (9/4), The Very Thing (5/2), Animore (22/1), Max Liebermann (22/1), Sultans Hero (66/1), Wee Tiger Tots (150/1)
Landsman looks the one to beat on form but there are still a few stamina doubts about him at this trip, and it may pay to try and oppose him with THE VERY THING, who has actually passed the post in first place already but sadly the Fakenham stewards decided he'd done it by foul means, and he was demoted. This trip should suit him and he's taken to come out on top. Murphy's Law and Max Liebermann can fight it out for the bronze.
