Came back to form from left field when taking the runner-up slot at Southwell on his penultimate start. Appeared to back up that effort (not always the case) with a sound enough effort in a deeper race at Ffos Las; needs to repeat that again here.
Bred to be a lot better than he's shown so far in bumpers/novice hurdles he does at least step into handicaps for the first time having shown some ability. Hood (first-time) now applied along with a step up in trip; market confidence the key.
Won straight after having a wind op in May last year (previous form very dubious) and has produced a rather mixed bag since then over fences and hurdles. Shaped well enough over hurdles (back from a break) last time; not one to trust implicitly.
Not quite operating at his best currently and the cheekpieces are now reached for to see if they can provide some extra impetus. Well backed last time at Fontwell but failed to live up to those market expectations; more needed in order to support.
Maybe there was a hint of what was to come when he won on his bumper debut despite not looking straightforward. Majority of his hurdles runs have been blighted by quirky behaviour; ran well enough last time but hard to trust overall.
The handicapper giving her a chance plus the addition of a visor appeared to start to turn events around at Plumpton last time. Her attitude was certainly better than before; needs to show she can repeat that performance before she's of interest.
There looks to be a real element of finding out about him in his three novice hurdle runs so far over a variety of trips. Very much looks to have been brought along with handicaps in mind (needs to jump better); worth a glance in the market.
Stable are in good recent form and this one has shown some ability since being switched to handicaps albeit over shorter trips. Shaped as if ready for this sort of test last time; staying on late after being outpaced; very much of interest.
His novice starts were all about education but he appeared to bloom when upped in trip for his handicap debut at Exeter (finished fourth). Those that beat him on his last start just proving a little more streetwise; should be more to come in time.
Made little impact in two Flat starts last summer and his hurdling exploits haven't so far proved to be any better. Failed to progress from his debut last time out and now goes handicapping over an increased trip; others are more convincing.
