Yet to show his earlier promise in two starts this season, after more than two years off. Would be interesting if supported, but not easy to have much confidence at present.
Came back to her best when an eased-down 14L winner at Ffos Las (2m3½f, soft) earlier in the week. Reappears quickly under a penalty. More needed, but should again go very well.
Sole win came in a Southwell handicap hurdle (1m7½f, soft) in March 2017. Well below that in all but one start since, when when was narrowly beaten in at Hereford (2m) in November. 2lb higher and over further here, and stamina questionable.
Off the mark at the 21st attempt at Plumpton (2m3½f, soft) last time, doing so readily. Now he has that career-best under his belt, he may be capable of more, but an 11lb rise looks steep.
Scored here over the 2m3½f (heavy) as a hurdler in 2015, but losing run now at 20 since then. Best form would give him claims from this mark, but has been well short of that for some time.
Dual chase winner at around 2m in 2017, but badly out of sort in four of his five runs last year. New headgear fitted, but can only watch at present.
Went close when on this mark at Southwell (2m, good) last June. Well beaten twice since in similar races, and was never likely to be a player in better company at Ascot last time. Others preferred.
Without a win since January 2016 and recent efforts suggest that it will be tough for him to find another race in which to get his nose in front.
Scored on his eighth attempt over fences at 66-1 at Bangor (2m4½f, good; first-time cheekpieces) in October. Held after 5lb rise on only run since (soft ground a possible excuse). Needs to bounce right back.
Has won won since March 2016, when 26lb higher. Stays this far and acts with cut in the ground, but while well treated on his form of last winter, he is showing no signs of taking advantage.
Moderate hurdler who was a 75L fourth of six on his recent chase debut at Hereford (2m). Stayed 2m5f over hurdles, but hard to make a case for him.
1-22, having scored at Leicester (2m4f, heavy) over fences last March. 3lb higher here, and after a recent reappearance may have sharpened him up, he could be much more closely involved.
19-race maiden who posted a career-best at Warwick (2m, good to soft) last time, when 6L second. A repeat would give him claims, but consistency is not a strong point.
