Poor overall record (1 from 18) and that sole success came way back in July 2016 (for Roger Varian); off the track since March and hasn't run on turf for over 11 months.
Yet to race beyond 6f; 5f winner off a 2lb lower mark at Windsor in July 2017, but has raced just once since then (the following month), so has plenty to prove on his first start for 333 days.
Yet to win on turf, and was well beaten over 1m at Newmarket last month; hard to build a constructive case despite the drop in trip and easing-in-the weights.
Both of her juvenile wins (5f-6f) came on soft ground, and there's certainly none of that around for the foreseeable future; struggled as a result of tardy starts (for George Scott) in 2018, and starts off life elsewhere seeking more.
Climbing the weights, but notched a third win in her last five starts when doing enough to repel Topmeup by a neck at Brighton recently (7f, good to firm); 2lb rise fair and this isn't an overly strong contest.
Six-race maiden; 20/1, but spotted making good late progress to finish just under 2L third to a Christine Dunnett-trained pair of rivals over C&D earlier this month; reasonable chance from the same mark if continuing to progress.
Forecasts
Arabian Jazz (11/10), Kachumba (5/2), Late Change (13/2), Maazel (16/1), Holy Tiber (16/1), City Guest (16/1), The Third Man (22/1)
It's challenging to build a constructive case for the majority of these runners, but the in-form Kachumba is massively respected as a result despite continuing to steadily climb the weights. However, the best advice is to stick with the Michael Bell-trained, Cameron Noble-ridden ARABIAN JAZZ, who rates as a major player on the back of her sound run at Thirsk (7f) last week.
