Promise for Ralph Beckett, and has improved for current yard this year, doing well to land 1¼m handicap here on latest start having been forced to switch. Likely to stay further, and merits maximum respect in follow-up bid.
Half-sister to Gold Cup winner Big Orange. Produced best effort to date when 1½L second of 7 to Casima on handicap debut at Kempton (1½m) last time, and should progress further if a first-time hood has the desired effect.
Best recent efforts and both wins have come on Fibresand, latest at Southwell in March, and while not disgraced over C&D on penultimate outing, she has something to prove on this surface.
Ultimately disappointing at up to 7f for Richard Fahey, but much improved on second start for new yard when runner-up in a 1¼m handicap here last time, pulling clear with winner. Longer trip an unknown, but 3lb rise is very fair.
Showed promise in 7f/1m qualifying runs, and travelled well when third in 1¼m handicap at Doncaster which has thrown up winners. Stamina for longer trip not assured on pedigree, but still unexposed.
Modest maiden on balance of form, but ran well when close fifth of 16 to Seinesational in handicap at Windsor last time, and not dismissed if able to back that effort up.
Forecasts
Fresh Terms (13/8), Camomile Lawn (5/2), Peace Prevails (3/1), India (10/1), Queen Adelaide (14/1), Go On Gal (25/1)
India will appreciate the longer trip being a half-sister to top-class stayer Big Orange, but preference is for CAMOMILE LAWN who overcame difficulties to win here last time, and has more to offer. Peace Prevails improved for the step up to 1¼m when an excellent second here last time, and is very fairly treated if staying this longer trip.
