Improved from his debut for this yard when winning at Epsom last time out. 8lb higher now but shaped like he would appreciate the step up in trip and the booking of Moore is eye-catching. Ought to go well again if he handles the quicker ground here.
Won on seasonal return last year and ran well in some competitive handicaps subsequently. Had little chance after missing the break here last time on debut for this yard and may want a step back up in trip to be seen to best effect.
Arrives bidding for a hat-trick after back-to-back wins at Goodwood. Plenty to like about the way he did that and seemingly improving at present. 6lb rise could underestimate him.
Pulled up lame at Chester last time but should be competitive if bouncing back to the form he showed at Ascot and has placed off similar marks in the past. Yard form a cause for minor concern.
C&D winner whose course form (across both courses) reads 1211. Latest win came on the Rowley Mile in a four-runner contest and while he's yet to win from a mark this high, he's dangerous to gift an easy lead to, especially at this course.
Won on fast ground at Bath on debut but his best form has all come with plenty more cut in the ground than what's likely here. Never won from a mark this high and his inconsistency is a slight concern.
Arrives here bidding for a hat-trick and undefeated in two starts at this course. Clearly going the right way at present and a 3lb rise may not be enough to stop him.
Improving with each start last year and while both wins have come at Southwell, he's looked effective on his two AW starts away from that course. Makes turf debut and he's a fascinating contender on debut for these connections.
Forecasts
On The Warpath (11/4), Aces (4/1), Sir Titan (9/2), Saluti (13/2), Burguillos (7/1), Sea Fox (9/1), Roll On Rory (14/1), Berkshire Boy (14/1)
ON THE WARPATH's future may be out in Dubai on dirt but there's a fair chance he'll be effective on turf, particularly on this sort of ground and he's a fascinating contender for his new connections here. Saluti is in fine form and can't be ruled out back at a course he goes well at while similar can be said for confirmed for Roll On Rory who is danger to all if allowed to dominate this relatively small field from the front.
