Modest in a number of point-to-point starts and needs a chunk of improvement on rules debut here to play a part in the finish.
Distance winner who disappointed as beaten favourite when last seen in April in a Kilbeggan beginners contest finishing well down the field. Plenty to prove at present.
Pulled up on sole chase start to date in a Huntingdon novice chase when in the hands of trainer Venetia Williams in April 2017. Nothing of note in a dozen starts for this yard and others preferred.
Maiden after 12 starts and failed to complete in two starts over fences earlier this season before finishing well down the field in a Clonmel beginners contest when last seen in March.
Distance winner over this trip in a Down Royal maiden hurdle in May 2017. Plenty to like about his chasing debut at Killarney last month and looks open to much improvement here.
Course winner that has also won over the distance. Always in rear on sole chase start to date at Tipperary last month eventually pulled up before three out. Plenty more needed here.
Distance winner of a Tramore maiden hurdle on heavy ground in April. Acts on this ground but needs to improve on disappointing chase debut at Tramore recently.
Nothing of any note in two desolate chase performances last month and unlikely to trouble the judge in this contest.
Solid and consistent sort who has generally gone well in a number of chase starts to date and deserves a change of luck here on his ninth start over fences.
Proving very consistent and deservedly opened his account at the 11th attempt when winning a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan in September. Beaten since before the end of the season and is expected to be well prepped for chasing debut.
Plenty to like about his second of nine beaten just over 5L on chasing debut in a Fairyhouse beginners contest in February. Likely to improve on that run for leading trainer/jockey combination.
Modest 97-rated hurdler and first time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
Has produced two promising displays over the larger fences recently the latest of which when second of 15 beaten ½L in a Tramore beginners chase earlier this month. Likely to improve here.
