Likes this idiosyncratic track, C&D winner here in May and ran to a very similar level when third here (6f) last time out. Back up to 7f here, which looks a plus, 4lb lower than last run (which was under a penalty) and has every chance of success.
Has been most consistent all the calendar year and gained a deserved success at Lingfield in April. Two solid efforts since then (including one here) but handicapper gives her another shove up the handicap and she may need a bit more.
Winner here as a 2yo but has become hard to win with and in truth, disappointing lately. Well beaten last of 6 at Hamilton last time, despite market support, and although yard's often bounce back out of the blue, is hard to make a solid case for.
Has been knocking on the door this spring and almost barged it open when a short-head second at Doncaster last time. Up 3lb for that and drops back to 7f here, which isn't certain to help his cause, but in good heart all the same and may go well.
Fallen some way in the handicap and looked like he might be on the way back with a better effort at Bath latest, staying on late to grab third. That was over a mile though, so this shorter trip not guaranteed to suit.
